Synopsis

Performed a deep geophysical study in Platon Mare Rouge using electromagnetic geophysical technology; the area is known for the significant difficulty in drilling successful water wells. The investigation identified the contact between an upper porous limestone and a deeper mudstone at about 100 meters depth that may produce a viable groundwater supply.
