Groundwater Exploration & Geology Reconnaissance

Geology and hydrogeology study for the largest undeveloped island in the Caribbean to support humanitarian well drilling efforts. The island is known as the water poorest inhabited location in the world and one of the most difficult areas of Haiti to discover quality groundwater. Northwater performed field work in rugged, remote and challenging conditions and developed drilling program recommendations to improve success and prioritize water supply development efforts. Northwater also performed custom satellite terrain and remote sensing analysis to complement the field geologic mapping to site drilling locations and map potential aquifers.
